Poly curriculum starts on monday.
Well Well,
exactly 2 days from this timing, i'll be in my lecture,
my 1st lecture for the semester, Introduction to Hospitality and Tourism,
from 4pm ~ 6pm. Man.
Gonna go to school alone,
Gonna try to understand my classmate's topics,
Gonna feel kind of out of place.
Gonna bet there's not going to be any random laughters from a corner of the class.
Gonna feel cold even if i have a hoodie on,
Gonna wonder if my classmates are easy to get along with..
Gonna miss T03 DPA'10
Gonna miss my family,
Gonna miss Tehpeng
Gonna miss my 22 family members.
School term starts this monday.
Monday aint gonna start at mush for me like before,
Saddening, but thats reality isn't it,
So many different schedules and timetables,
we're all in different classes,
different courses, and we are going to meet a whole new bunch of people who will be with us for 1 year, or maybe even 3 years.
But if we don't open up towards them, and get to understand them better instead of showing ourselves always as DPA students, life will definitely be hard for all of us.
What i'm saying is that, we are DPA students,
We are from TehPeng, that is a irreversible truth and fact.
But our classmates aren't,
they are not as familiar with the facilities as we are,
they are not as comfortable with poly life as we are.
So we gotta talk and engage with them from the same level,
and not act all high and mighty (:
We will definitely know ourselves, our identities as the awesome 23 people of tehpeng.
So, when school starts, just a little nagging from ahgong,
open up to your course/classmates,
discuss and get along well with them,
it will pay off in the long run, and you can build strong friendships which will last.
Now..
back to the touchy touchy portions.

Wow, 17 april now,
i've spent my last 2 months and 9 days, with wonderful people,
i've spent it well.
i've made close friends,
i've formed a family.
i've explored every single canteen (except IT),
i've ate the best and the worst of western food.
i've booked project rooms,
i've watched movies.
i've stayed out late for outings,
i've gone out late for dinner.
i've watched percy jackson,
i've watched how to train your dragon.
i've spent 1.5 weeks at temasek green,
i've spent most of those days cooking breakfast.
i've discussed projects till the wee hours of the morning,
i've had fun and laughter in that very same apartment.
i've spent april fools' scamming others and being scammed.
I've sang duets and songs in the project room,
I've laughed my lungs out too.
I'VE loved these moments, these simple moments, that may seem so mediocre and meaningless to others, but
I Treasure them.
I Love spending these moments, with the 22 unique individuals who have made them possible.
They have made my experience as a DPA student memorable and impactful.
Never will i have a day where I refuse to go to school, because i yearn to see them everyday,
their smiles, their laughter, are what pushes me on everyday.
We have people who are so similar to each other, almost like twins.
We have people who don't act their age.
Indeed, age is just a number, and our family tree is indeed messed up.
But the role we play in the family, no matter what the position, is important and makes a difference.
We made this bond possible.
We used our effort and conquered every possible challenge faced.
Conflicts only made us closer.
Misunderstandings filled our course of time @ TP,
but it was just the nature of tehpeng to irritate others,
We understood that, thats why some of us could take it, while some of us had different view about them.
They expressed their feelings, the others listened, and changed accordingly,
Within one day, or even overnight, unhappiness was solved.
This kind of situation is magical, almost unbelievable.
These situations would normally only work out for people who have known each other for a lifetime.
But we,
we only know each other for 2 months
I see tehpeng,
i see a family portrait whenever we take a group photo.
Not every outing was with complete attendance,
but hey, we understood everyone's difficulties..
We have our own commitments.
But, our closeness, has lasted so long,
Thinking of it makes my heart warm up..
Now, the start of curriculum edges closer than ever before.
I will miss you guys,
and to repeat this again,
Don't be sad that the time we have for each other is getting lesser and lesser,
If we really have the heart and want to put in the effort,
we will make time for each other.
We are a family,
We are one.
We are going to last.
We will make it through this 3 years.
We will meet up again.
All 23 of us,
We will always remain as the one and only.
